FAQ
Are there any rules regarding the care of studio facilities?
Yes, we ask all students to help keep the studio in excellent condition. Please avoid any actions that might cause damage to the floors, mirrors, walls, or other studio surfaces. Let’s work together to maintain a clean and safe environment for everyone!
Do I need to make a reservation for classes, and do I need to bring class pass?
No reservation is needed for either adult or children’s classes. Simply bring your class pass for check-in when you arrive. Adult classes operate on a check-in basis, while children’s classes follow a set schedule for each session’s specific content.
Are classes recorded, and can students record them?
We may record some of our classes, and we welcome students to record sessions themselves as well—just be sure to tag us if you share it! Before starting classes, we provide detailed information about any recordings, and we require informed consent from parents or guardians for students under 18.
What is the policy on personal belongings during class?
Students are responsible for their personal belongings during class. We recommend keeping your items secure, as MVP Dance Complex cannot be held liable for any lost or misplaced belongings. For added safety, please consider leaving valuables at the Information Desk.
Is there a dress code for classes?
Yes, each class may have specific attire requirements based on the instructor’s guidelines, so please follow the dress code for your particular course. In general, wear comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear—slippers are not allowed in any class. Certain classes may require specific items like heels or knee pads, depending on the choreography style. If you’re unsure, please check ahead to ensure you’re prepared for class.
What’s the difference between recurring enrollment classes for ages 4-18 and the class pass package options?
Our recurring enrollment classes for ages 4-18 are scheduled classes with set curriculums. Children may enroll in multiple classes to learn various dance styles. Attendance is required for children to stay on track in their structured program.
The class pass package is offered to adults to allow for more flexibility and opportunities to learn various styles. We currently require adults to sign up for a class at least 24 hours ahead of the class start time. Walk-in options will be offered in the future.
Can I attend just one class as a walk-in?
We do not accept single walk-in classes. All students must enroll in one of our packages or programs to attend classes. This helps ensure a more structured and consistent learning experience for everyone.
How are the classes paced, and how long are they?
Our regular classes are structured as 60-minute sessions. For workshops and special programs, the duration may vary depending on the specific course.
For children’s recurring programs, assessments are conducted based on the course progression to ensure each student is placed in the most suitable class level for their development. Adjustments to class placements may be made as needed to match each student’s growth and learning pace.
How can I keep track of how many classes I have left?
You can check your remaining classes in two ways:
1. Class Pass: Your class pass will show the number of classes you have left.
2. System Records: We also track your usage in our system, so feel free to ask us for an update.
Please Note: We strongly recommend not losing your class pass, as it is your primary record for tracking your classes.
What are the payment methods, and what should I do after paying?
We accept payments by cash or Zelle. After making your payment, please follow these steps to ensure everything is in order:
1. Make sure you receive a receipt from MVP as proof of payment.
2. Complete all necessary forms.
3. Obtain your class pass, which includes dated entries and will require your signature for each session.
Following these steps helps keep your enrollment and attendance organized and accurately recorded.
Is there an expiration date for packages and programs?
Yes, each package and program has a specific validity period. Once the period expires, any unused sessions will no longer be valid, so please be sure to complete your classes within the designated timeframe.
Can I get an exchange or refund for class tuition?
We do not offer exchanges or refunds for class tuition. Please consider your schedule and commitment before enrolling to ensure you can make the most of your classes.
