Serena Lamacchia graduated from Goucher College where she was a double major in dance and psychology with a minor in theater. In addition to her studies at Goucher, Serena is an alumna of training programs at both Steps on Broadway and Broadway Dance Center. She has also trained internationally, studying Balinese dance in Indonesia, contemporary and traditional West African dance forms in Ghana, and Western concert dance and other styles in Scotland. She has performed concert dance as well as musical theater and has worked with choreographers such as Billy Griffin, Adrian Lee, and Helen Simoneau.
Serena has choreographed numerous works for stage and camera including an evening length contemporary ballet, musical productions, and various music and concept videos. She has also taught various styles of dance to children of all ages.
